Foraging Baskets: In this two-day workshop students will weave with willow to create a fun and functional basket to wear for hands-free foraging! Built on a round base for beginners or an oval base for those with some willow weaving experience, we will squish and shape our way to a basket that will fit right against the hip. Weaving techniques covered are reverse-pairing, waling, randing, packing/basic weave, and woven rod borders. A leather or canvas belt (or belt loops) will be added to complete the basket.

Willow can be a challenge to work with, and physically engaging, this class may be difficult for a person with hand issues. This class includes an hour lunch break each day.
