January 19th, 2020, 10:00am - 6:00pm
Hosted by Grazery, New Paltz, NY. $115 per student, materials included, but not plants or lunch.
Get rid of your winter blahs. Spend the day learning to weave a pretty willow cachepot to house your new favorite plant from Grazery. We will go through basic weaving techniques, such as waling, randing and two types of borders, to create a collar to hide both a plant pot and its saucer. Students will finish with an approximately 7" cachepot to hold a 4-6" pot.
Cachepots are an excellent way to zhoosh up your plant areas and what's better than making your own out of a natural material! Exploration of willow's natural colors is encouraged, and while experience in willow weaving is helpful, it is not necessary. Strong hands are a must for this class. BYO lunch.
