Spend a summer day weaving a functional piece for your summer garden. These willow obelisks can serve as plant supports or as a decorative focal point. Sturdy willow stakes are woven with the Irish mouth wale and pairing at the base. Then sturdy pairing with multiple weavers spiral up the sides. The top is finished with a Japanese eye knot. Please make room in your vehicle for this one! For those uninitiated with the beauty and challenge of willow, we will have a small info session and practice before we weave the obelisks. You do not need to be a member of the guild to attend this event! Although I encourage you to explore the other class options, if you are only interested in my class just leave the 2nd and 3rd option blank when registering.
