Workshop Policies

Here’s the nitty gritty:

• What’s included in your class fee
  All amenities and spaces made available are listed in the class description. Additional amenities are subject to provision by the host.

• Waiver of Liability
  By participating in a workshop or tutorial, you release Willow Vale Farm LLC from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during a workshop. You agree to hold Willow Vale Farm LLC entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence. You will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to you verbally. You will ask for clarification when needed. You also acknowledge the risks involved in participating in a weaving workshop and working with associated tools. You swear that you are participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to you. Additionally, you do not have any conditions that will increase your likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity. You forfeit all right to bring a suit against Willow Vale Farm LLC for any reason.

• Travel/Lodging
  Most workshops do not include travel or lodging, for those traveling from outside of the area, you may contact Jesica directly via email for recommendations. I will most likely direct you to AirBnB!

• Cancellations/Refunds
  If you need to cancel your registration for a class:

  • Please check the host’s cancellation policies FIRST! The host’s policies take precedent. If you registered for the class or private tuition through Willow Vale Farm, see below.

  • 1 month before class- receive full refund or credit, less a $25 processing fee.

  • 2-4 weeks before class- receive credit only, less a $25 processing fee.

  • We do not offer refunds or credit with less than 2 weeks notice, but some exceptions can be made for family or medical emergencies. If you experience an emergency prior to a class, please contact me as soon as you can.

  • All requests for refunds or class credits must be made in writing via email to willowvalefarm@gmail.com

  • Class registration is transferable. If you are unable to attend a class, please consider having someone attend in your place and contact me to let me know.

  • If for any reason Willow Vale Farm/Jesica Clark has to cancel a class, students will receive a full refund of tuition.

  • If class is cancelled because of a Covid lockdown mandate or positive Covid test result for either party at any time, students will receive a full refund.
